Celadon Ginger Jar Lamp

Gray and green Chinese ginger jar of unknown date, converted to a lamp in the early 20th century. Features a carved brass base and an unusual brass rim around the lid. Lamp has been rewired with darkened brass hardware and a brown silk cord. Dimensions below are for the overall height (which adjusts) and base; the jar measures 9″ in diameter by 12.5″ high. The lamp is shown with a 10″ top, 18 bottom, 13″ slant.
